        Hair stylist Jaylene Stephens has joined the staff at VP Salon in Westfield. Born and raised in Chicago, Stephens honed her skills on Fashion Runways creating hair styles for top brand  products. 

 

        “After being exposed to many glamorous women, I knew I found my niche,” She said. “I realized I could best serve the public by becoming a fabulous, fashion-forward hair stylist. Makeovers are my specialty.” 

 

      “While appearing on runways in Chicago and Manhattan, Jaylene’s responsibility included creating hair styles for guests appearing on shows starring Oprah Winfrey and Jennie Jones. 

    “As each client took their place in my chair, my job was to  transition their hair style, while doing a complete Makeover. The ultimate goal was to make each and every guest look their best. Many times that involved creating a new look to accentuate their facial structure.” 

 

    Thoroughly trained in all aspects of hair design, Jaylene’s most recent experience was creating fashion-foward looks backstage at Runway Shows for Fashion Week in New York City.

        Come the last weekend in March, hair stylist Jaylene Stephens will be joining the staff at VP Salon in Westfield.

        Currently located at Platinum Salon in Manhattan, the artful technician honed her skills in Chicago. Born and raised in the Windy City, Jaylene gained her vast experience on Fashion Runways where she modeled hair styles for top brand hair products. 

 

    “After being exposed to many glamorous women and their trendy fashionable looks, I knew I found my niche. I would best serve the public by becoming a fabulous hair stylist,” said Stephens who is looking forward to meeting her clientele at VP Salon.  Receiving her training at Ifergan Salon in downtown Chicago, and with the Redken Styling Team, Makeovers are her specialty.
