Located in Westfield, NJ opposite the train station, the NJTTC is committed to serving the community as a leading sports facility. With over 150 members, NJTTC conducts 10 USATT sanctioned tournaments every month from Sept till May. They also host the prestigious New Jersey State Championships. Our next tournament is coming up on June 23, 2012. Past tournament pictures are displayed at www.njttc.org/Flickr/data/photo.php. The tournament is in Giant Round Robin format. It has Only 1 event with 2 sessions.
- Session 1: 10:00AM - 2:30PM.
- Session 2: 03:30PM - 8:00PM
Maximum of 32 participants in each session. There will be 4 Divisions per session. The 8 highest-rated players will be placed in Division 1; the next 8 in Division 2, and so on.Each participant is guaranteed 7 matches in the round robin (pending defaults). A division will be assigned two tables and each session will run for about 4.5 hours.
- Division 1: First Place $200, Second Place $100, Third Place $50
- Division 2: First Place $100, Second Place $50, Third Place $25
- Division 3: First Place $100, Second Place $50, Third Place $25
- Division 4: Trophies for first 3 places

All entries are responsible for full payment if not withdrawn by the above deadline. Phone entries will not be accepted. Entries may be rejected if space does not permit.If paying by check, please do not include in the check payment for anything other than this tournament.
PERSONAL LOCKER FOR PARTICIPANTS
We would also like to remind you that the entire bottom row of lockers near the men's room is reserved for "Daily Use Only" and can be used by tournament participants. If you would like to use one of these lockers to secure your belongings while at the tournament, please bring your own lock and take any open "Daily Use Only" locker. Please be sure to remove your lock and take your belongings at the end of the day though since Daily Use Only locks and locker contents left overnight are subject to removal. New Jersey Table Tennis Club will be hosting a 2012 Summer training camp. The camp is open to all ages and play levels, it is specially designed to acquire and improve table tennis skills.
David Zhuang, Six times US Men's Champion, 3 times olympian and Nai-Hui Liu, the 2011 US Open Women's Singles Champion, will be the coach for this training camp.
Coach David Zhuang is a USATT national level coach who has coached many students throughout the NJ, NY and PA areas. During his distinguished career as professional table tennis athlete, Mr. Zhuang won the US National Men's Singles Champion six times and was a 3-time Olympian representing the United States. Mr. Zhuang was inducted to the USATT Hall of Fame in 2003 based on his outstanding achievements in table tennis.
Coach Liu has coached many students all over the world from young kids to adults. She was a former Chinese National Team member. As a professional athlete, she represented the Chinese team and competed internationally and personally won the women's singles champion titles of 5 international opens -http://njttc.org/pis/news.html.

It is exciting to be in NJTTC this time of the year as we get to host the grand NJ State Championship. We get people from all New Jersey clubs coming to the oldest club in New Jersey - NJTTC. It is grand finale of yet another table tennis season before we get ready for summer. This year we introduce a new trophy "Ed Gutman Memorial Junior Achievement Award" for U18 junior singles. Excitement is always on in this event - who will be our new NJ State champion ? Spectators are welcome and admission is free.
NJTTC Spring camp(Saturday 4.00-6.00PM): NJTTC beginner training takes place every Saturday 4.00-6.00pm. The classes cost $25 for non-,members and $15 for members. Classes are taught by Frank Yu, a former coach of the City Table Tennis School in Beijing China. Visit our website at www.njttc.org/pis/training for further info. Private lessons are also available from several top coaches who are national level players, including 6 times national champion David Zhuang and US open champion Liu Nai-Hui. We have about 170 active members.
We are located at the second floor of 226 building on north avenue, right across from the westfield train station. We are a historic, 80 year old club, operating in westfield since 1972.
(May 19-20, 2012 9:00AM-6:00PM): Our next monthly tournament is scheduled for May 19-20, 2012. Our featured highest division event is on Sunday May 20, starting at 2:30PM. US National level and top foreign players frequently participate and their performance is truly amazing. Spectators are welcome and admission is free. Please come by and enjoy the best table tennis in the Tri-State area.
