WESTFIELD, NJ, Feb. 22, 2012 – The Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurant in Westfield is supporting the Memory of Margaret Kritsch Anderson for the 2nd Annual March “Month of Giving” fundraising campaign. The campaign will culminate in the nationwide event, Jersey Mike’s “Make A Difference Day” on Wednesday, March 28.
During the month of March, customers can make a donation to the Memory of Margaret Kritsch Anderson, which benefits her two children, at the Westfield Jersey Mike’s restaurant. Then on March 28, a special nationwide celebration, “Make A Difference Day,” will take place at all Jersey Mike’s locations to benefit 74 different charities with a mission to help children.
On that day, Westfield residents are invited come in to Jersey Mike’s and enjoy a delicious sub meal. The Westfield Jersey Mike’s restaurant will donate 50 percent of the day’s sales to the Memory of Margaret Kritsch Anderson. The Westfield Jersey Mike’s restaurant is located at 144 E. Broad Street.
The inaugural Month of Giving campaign last year raised more than $600,000 for 66 charities nationwide and the hope is this year’s campaign will raise even more. In total last year, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country raised more than $2 million for worthy local charities and distributed more than 200,000 free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
