Akai Japanese Sushi Lounge is now open at 102 E. Broad St. in the space next to Vicki's Diner. This is the second lounge for the owner following the success of Akai in Englewood, NJ. The Bar Method of Westfield is now open at 105 Elm St., 2nd floor. It is a one-hour workout that creates a uniquely lean, firm, sculpted body. It combines isometrics, dance conditioning, physical therapy and interval training into an exercise format that quickly and safely shapes and elongates muscles. The studio offers classes seven days a week and has on-site childcare for specific class times. The studio also has a locker room with a shower, towels and basic toiletries. Top Jewelry, a costume jewelry and gift store, is now open at 125 Quimby St., in the location formerly Second Time Around.

Athleta, a GAP brand, is coming to 234 E. Broad St. in the space formerly GAP Kids (which moved across the street with the expansion of GAP). Athleta offers women's performance apparel, including yoga clothing, run clothing and swimwear.


Blue Jasmine Floral Design & Boutique is opening at 23 Elm St., in the space formerly Swirl Whirl. Their studio provides fresh takes on seasonal floral designs using only the highest quality blossoms. The retail shop showcases an assortment of carefully curated home and garden décor, jewelry, personal accessories, and unique gifts. Blue Jasmine is an exclusive vendor of lines such as Uno de 50, Chan Lulu, Valerie Casado (sold at ABC Carpet & Home), Prüne, and Carla Danelli. There is no need to cross the Hudson to find something special and unexpected!  


Exquisite Bride is coming to 217 North Ave. This bridal boutique currently operates another store in Princeton, NJ, and offers a modern mix of classic, elegant and sophisticated couture. 


First Class Nail Salon & Spa is coming to 21 Elm St., next to Le Bain Bath & Body Boutique and Blue Jasmine Floral Design & Boutique.    


Girl from Ipanema Spa is coming to 112 Elm St. in the space formerly Martin Richard Salon. Girl from Ipanema Spa specializes in waxing and body treatments that utilize authentic Brazilian wax and body treatments passed down through generations. 


Lashzilla Lash& Beauty Boutique 

Lashzilla Lash& Beauty Boutique will be coming soon at 231 North Ave. W., Suite #3. They create beautiful individuals by using and enhancing their God given beauty. They specialize and offer lash extension, waxing and makeup services.



N & C Jewelers will open at 102 Quimby St., in the space formerly occupied by Alan's Orchard (which is relocating). Owners Nabig and Carmen are formerly of Michael Kohn Jewlers.
