The first 1,300 ladies to register receive a complimentary gift sponsored by Downtown Westfield Corporation in partnership with City Sports. The bag sponsor is Barnabas Health Saint Barnabas Medical Center. The registration area will be at 126 Central Avenue in the former Coldwater Creek location. Brochures for the evening events will be available as well as online at westfieldtoday.com.
Register at: www.westfieldtoday.com/girlsnightout
Following the overwhelming response and success of previous Girls’ Night Out events since 2011, it is anticipated that more than 2,400 women will register and many more will attend.
“The evening has become a semi-annual event which residents and local business owners look forward to,” noted Sherry Cronin, Executive Director of the DWC. “The event continues to grow in popularity—both for the participants and the number of involved businesses. Almost 30 percent of the ladies came from Westfield, while almost 180 New Jersey towns and a few other states are represented. We hope that this time the turnout is as large and diverse. Everyone has a great time.”
Gifts and giveaways have not been disclosed yet, but the entertainment is confirmed to be live music on the streets. Michael Doyle of the Michael Craig Band will be among the outdoor entertainment. Once again the 'Mens' Night Out' component of Girls' Night Out will be present, featuring chivalrous local dignitaries and volunteers greeting women at the event and opening doors for them outside downtown shops.
Details about this event, including participating businesses, their specials and the registration location, will be available soon at www.westfieldtoday.com/girlsnightout. For more information, contact the DWC at 908.789.9444.
