Mobile Meals is a voluntary, nonprofit program of home-delivered meals serving those who are unable to shop and prepare their own meals on either a temporary or permanent basis. Mobile Meals operates five days a week, Monday through Friday and offers two types on service: 1. A hot dinner and cold supper daily 2. A hot supper daily All meals are delivered by volunteers about noon each day to the client's residence. If preferred, only the hot dinner meal can be ordered What is the food like? The menus are well balanced and changed daily. They are prepared in the kitchen of the First Baptist Church in Westfield. The food is not only delicious but also attractively presented in reheatable trays. Two meals per day for five day costs $35. One hot dinner per day for five days costs $25. Anyone may apply directly to Mobile Meals or referrals may be made by a relative, friend, clergyman, physician, nurse, or other interested consultants, or through any welfare department, health agency, social agency or hospital.
