Crumbs Bake Shop
Gourmet Cupcakes
Born on the Upper West Side of New York City 5 years ago, Crumbs was once considered a 'big city' cupcake. But now, for the first time ever, Crumbs Bake Shop, the originator of the gourmet cupcake, has brought its famous flavors to New Jersey, debuting in Westfield and Hoboken.
The first to introduce previously unseen new flavor combinations for cupcake connoisseurs, Crumbs launched the concept of cupcake couture, effectively changing the cupcake industry. Today, Crumbs offers 75 different varieties.
Announcements
WHAT: Debut of the 'Artie Lange' Cupcake Crumbs
WHO: Artie Lange of the Howard Stern Show
WHEN: Saturday, March 28th - Artie Lange in store from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
WHERE: Crumbs Bake Shop - 130 East Broad St., Westfield, New Jersey
In celebration of their new Bake Shop in Westfield, Crumbs will host Artie Lange from The Howard Stern Show who will make a rare in-person appearance. Artie will be on hand to meet Crumbs neighbors and unveil 'The Artie Lange,' a custom cupcake named in his honor. This is a special cupcake, with a portion of the proceeds of the sale of every 'Artie Lange' will be donated to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Artie will be at the Crumbs Bake Shop in Westfield on Saturday, March 28th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Like Artie's uncompromising personality, the cupcake is perfect for those who can't choose between chocolate and vanilla. Delicious vanilla sponge cake is filled with chocolate butter cream, then smothered with vanilla cream cheese frosting and topped with chocolate fondant icing (like the frosting on a black & white cookie). A generous helping of chocolate and vanilla sprinkles garnish the sides. With the Artie Lange, Crumbs is not only serving smiles, but now, helping children, with every bite.
Crumbs Bake Shop first opened its doors in 2003, on New York's Upper West Side. Since then, the company has had a lot cooking, bringing its signature flavor to neighborhoods in New York, the Hamptons and Los Angeles. Building on the success and momentum of their current ten locations, Crumbs continue to expand with several new stores set to open in 2008. The specialty of the house is cupcakes; however the menu also adds an irresistible blend of comfort-oriented classics and elegant baked goods. With over 75 signature flavors, more than 25 varieties of cupcakes are baked fresh daily with a new cupcake of the week debuting each Monday. Now, Crumbs cupcakes are just a click away. The yummy treats are now available across the country through the new Web site, www.Crumbs.com.

Born on the Upper West Side 5 years ago, Crumbs was once considered a 'big city' cupcake. But now, for the first time ever, Crumbs Bake Shop, the originator of the gourmet cupcake, has brought its famous flavors to New Jersey, debuting in Westfield and Hoboken. The newest Crumbs Bake Shop will open its doors this Saturday, February 28th on 130 East Broad Street in Westfield.

Perfect for our on-demand, downloadable culture.
In an effort to invite the entire community to celebrate opening day, Crumbs will give away 1,000 complimentary cupcakes (1 per person) beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28th at the Westfield shop and Saturday, March 21st at the Hoboken shop.
"I love watching people getting together to enjoy each other over a cupcake," said Mia Bauer, Crumbs co-founder. "Every day, I look forward to meeting our neighbors and hosting them in our shops with our newest and favorite flavors."
Crumbs Bake Shop first opened its doors in 2003, on New York?s Upper West Side. Since then, the company has had a lot cooking, bringing its signature flavor to neighborhoods in New York, the Hamptons and Los Angeles. The new Crumbs Bake Shops will feature the signature Crumbs design, inspired by a combination of old-world European cafes and modern Americana, built around shades of chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon.
The specialty of the house is cupcakes; however the menu also adds an irresistible blend of comfort-oriented classics and elegant baked goods.
Mia, the creative force behind Crumbs, started her career as a lawyer with a political science background. Now she develops each and every flavor, and ensures every Crumbs Bake Shop reflects the spirit of their neighborhoods. Her first book, Lolly LaCrumb's Cupcake Adventure, recently hit book shelves, helping brings parents and kids together in the kitchen and together to read. Mia says she was inspired to write the book, because her most favorite memories of growing up were cooking and reading with her own mom.
